Former Czechoslovakia international Antonín Panenka, known worldwide for the penalty that gave his team the victory at the 1976 European Championship, is hospitalized and in serious condition in Prague due to Covid-19.
The information was revealed this Wednesday by his first club, the Bohemians 1905. “Antonín Panenka was transferred today in serious condition to the hospital’s ICU, where he is connected to medical devices. His coronavirus infection was confirmed some time ago ”, revealed the club on the social network Twitter.
