Almost 95% of the population is satisfied with the Macau Government in fighting the pandemic

A study by the Macau Poll Poll Association shows that almost 95 percent of residents are similar to the Government’s performance in fighting the pandemic.

Despite being one of the most densely populated regions in the world, Macau has so far recorded no deaths from the pandemic of the new type of coronavirus, nor large-scale outbreaks of infection.

In a study by the Macao Polling Research Association (MPRA), entitled “Dialogue approach: Communication during the crisis and public reactions to combating covid-19 in the most densely populated city in the world”, the Government received 94.7 percent approval the population for the way it handled a pandemic. Academics concluded that this result reflects the recognition of the population and awards the Ho Iat Seng Executive’s commitment to constant communication and transparency of data disclosed.
