Lyon win seventh women’s Champions

The French women of Lyon reinforced, this Sunday, the hegemony in European women’s football by becoming five times champions, after beating the Germans of Wolfsburg by 3-1, in the Champions League final in San Sebastián, Spain.

The Gauls’ seventh European title began to be built with goals from experienced striker Eugénie Le Sommer, on 25 minutes, and Japanese Saki Kumagai, on 44.
