Despite much controversy among fans, actor Ben Affleck, 43, is expected to return to live the superhero Batman in another hero’s film, now of the Flash, scheduled for 2022. According to Vanity Fair, he received the script this week past and already agreed to be part of the cast.
The “Flash” movie will feature the famous Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, 27, breaking the laws of physics and traveling parallel dimensions, finding versions of different DC heroes. According to director Andy Muschietti, Affleck’s part will be very important for the emotional issues of the film.
“He has a very strong dichotomy, which is his masculinity, with his imposing figure, his jaw, and his vulnerability,” says Muschietti. “It is an important part of the emotional impact of the film. The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck’s Batman will bring an emotional level that we haven’t seen before. ”
