Man causes several accidents in Berlin and shouts “Allahu Akbar”

A man on Tuesday night caused several accidents with his car on the road that crosses Berlin, causing six injuries, three of them seriously, in an act qualified as “Islamist” by the German prosecutor.

This voluntary act of causing the accidents occurred “due to Islamist motives, according to the current state of the investigation,” a spokesman for the local prosecutor’s office told AFP news agency.

The perpetrator of the accident is a 30-year-old Iraqi who shouted “Allahu Akbar (God is great)” as he stepped out of the vehicle.
