The oldest newspaper in Goa, O Heraldo, highlights on the front page of Thursday’s edition the Goan origins of João Leão, “son of Cláudio Fernandes (…), who emigrated to Portugal and lives in Lisbon”, and the teacher’s grandson Leão, who taught at the high school in Panjim, stressing that he will become the third minister of Goan origin, “in addition to Prime Minister António Costa (…) and Planning Minister, Nelson de Souza”.
