Portugal recorded five deaths from covid-19 and 342 new positive cases of the disease. Lisbon concentrates 75% of the cases, but in the North the downward trend was reversed.
According to the daily bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health, five people died in Portugal in the last 24 hours, the lowest number since the beginning of March, when six fatalities were recorded on 23 March. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 1479 people have lost their lives.
In the same period, counted until midnight on Saturday, 342 more positive cases of covid-19 were recorded, which increases the total from 34351 to 34693.
