Parliament decides today to extend the State of Emergency by another 15 days

The request, which was received on Tuesday, in Parliament, was analyzed yesterday by the presidents of the parliamentary groups of MPLA, UNITA and CASA-CE and of the PRS and FNLA representations. Today, the National Assembly holds a plenary meeting to pronounce itself on the request of the President of the Republic. National Assembly spokesman Raul Lima confirmed Parliament’s receipt of the President’s request for a plenary statement on the possibility of a further extension of the State of Emergency.
