“I have no problem with ending this parliament,” General Umaro Sissoco Embaló, flanked by the Guinean Armed Forces leadership, told reporters during a visit to the headquarters of the Armed Forces General Staff in Bissau.
Umaro Sissoco Embaló said he was a different leader from his predecessor, José Mário Vaz, and that he would never allow any institution of the Republic in Guinea-Bissau to be blocked. “Let people prepare for legislative elections,” he said.
