The Italian municipality of Saviano, on the outskirts of Naples, was placed in compulsory quarantine today after hundreds of inhabitants attended the funeral of the mayor, doctor Carmine Sommese, victim of covid-19. The president of the Neapolitan region, Vicenzo De Luca, issued this Sunday an order that prevents the entry or exit of the municipality and the closure of all offices and commercial spaces.
