The Montreux Jazz Festival made 50 full historical shows available for free on the internet, almost part of its collection to entertain music lovers during the quarantine period due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One of the most famous music festivals on the planet, the Montreux Jazz Festival has been held since 1967, in Switzerland. Initially, the objective was to become a jazz reference, but little by little the event opened the door to other genres, from rock to hip-hop and others.
The videos that can be accessed for free until the 18th of April, with shows by big names in world music, covering the most varied styles. There are performances by James Brown, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye, Phil Collins, Etta James, Alanis Morissette, Suzanne Vega, Santana, Deep Purple, Stray Cats, Korn, Alice Cooper, Run DMC and more.
