The resumption of production in China is being accelerated, registering a jump in road freight transport across the country, according to a report published by Manbang Group , a leader in domestic freight services.
In March, driver activity on the platform increased by 47% and cargo orders jumped 89.5% from February, according to the report by the Manbang Group based in Guiyang , the capital of southwest China’s Guizhou province .
The Manbang platform has more than 9 million users and covers more than 300 cities across the country.
In terms of types of goods, the transport of agricultural products jumped 83.2% in annual terms, representing 11.2% of total platform deliveries, according to the report, attributing the factor to spring agricultural production.
Other important products were building materials, coal, minerals, metal and steel.
As the most important material for energy generation, coal is one of the most transported goods. The city of Erdos , in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia, and the city of Yulin , in Shaanxi province , the two main coal producers, are the two main points of embarkation.
