According to the bulletin of the African Union’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC Africa), in the last 24 hours the number of registered deaths has risen from 313 to 360 with confirmed infections rising from 7,741 to 8,536. CDC Africa also recorded 710 patients recovered after the infection, 70 more than those registered on Saturday. North Africa remains the region most affected by the disease with 3,837 cases, 255 deaths and 391 recovered patients.
