The hospital center asked for blood donations from those who recovered from Covid-19 and the first volunteers were a couple of doctors, the first positive of the virus in the province, local media reported on Thursday.
“It is a therapy that has already been used successfully against SARS and Ebola and that allows other therapies to be carried out simultaneously,” explained the head of Immuno-hematology at the Policlínico de Pavia, Cesare Perotti, to the local newspaper Il Ticino .
