Mozambique's Ministry of Health announced one more death caused by the outbreak of the disease that broke out after the passage of cyclone Idai through the center of the country. In more than 4000 patients, 76 cases are still unresolved.
The final accounting remains to be done, but for now, the Episcopal Conference of Mozambique said that at least 60 churches were hit by the devastation of the cyclone that struck central Mozambique on March 14.
Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi announced today several measures to mitigate the impact of Cyclone Idai in the center of the country. The package includes free medical care and reduced electricity and transportation fees.
