Four unpublished texts by Gabriel García Márquez, written during his youth, shortly after escaping from the "Bogotazo" and returning to his homeland, were now revealed by the Bank of the Republic in Bogota. It was the year of 1948, when young Gabriel García Márquez returned to the Colombian Caribbean region, where many of his stories are set, and began to build his legend, with stories that sometimes went unnoticed and now are as coveted as the four unpublished ones that were found.
