Luanda turns 444 today

Five million people travel daily to the center of the city of Luanda, where around two million inhabitants live, to deal with various matters, said the president of the Luanda Administrative Commission, Maria Antónia Nelumba, to Jornal de Angola, on the occasion of the 444th anniversary of the capital, which is being celebrated today.

Sérgio Raimundo, Valter Filipe's lawyer, asked the court yesterday to exclude João Lourenço (Angola's President of the Republic), Frederico Cardoso (Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic) and Pedro Sebastião (Minister of State and Chief of the Security House of the President of the Republic) from the list of deponents to be heard during the so-called '500 Million Dollars' case trial.
