Nadal gives up and Del Potro secures his second final of the Grand Slam

Spanish tennis player abandoned the semi-final due to an injury.

The Argentinian player, Juan Martín del Potro, secured the second Grand Slam final of his career this Friday, nine years later, once again at the US Open [he won the competition in 2009].

The "Tandil Tower" benefited from Rafael Nadal's withdrawal from the tournament in the semi-finals, due to an injury in the right knee, to which he was assisted on several occasions during the match.
