Lewis Hamilton has been dominating Formula 1 in the last few years. The Mercedes driver won the sixth title of the category early this season, just a victory away from Michael Schumacher's seven titles, making many point him as the best Briton in history. However, this idolatry seems minor within England itself.
"I don't run for recognition, that's not what drives me, I try not to think about that fact. I'm lucky to do what I love and still represent my country in other countries. Maybe things would be different if I was white, but in the end I prefer to focus on the positive things," Hamilton told in a news conference in Sao Paulo.
