Umpires consider boycotting Serena Williams' games

Tennis umpires are considering refusing to preside over matches involving Serena William until she apologizes for her attack on Portuguese umpire Carlos Ramos. This alleged decision comes after Williams' behavior during the US Open final, in which she called Ramos a "liar" and a "thief" while also accusing him of sexism.

The tennis world is divided over the infamous episode, supporting either Serena or Carlos Ramos. The Women's Tennis Association and the US Tennis Association took Williams' side, while the International Tennis Federation threw its support behind the Portuguese umpire.
