Thiem wins Djokovic and faces Nadal in the final

Dominic Thiem, the world's fourth-seeded player, reached this Saturday the final of the French Grand Prix Roland Garros second Grand Slam of the season, winning the ranking leader, the Serbian Novak Djokovic.

In a marathon session, which took four hours and 13 minutes and was interrupted several times due to rain, Thiem won in five games, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5, 5-7 and 7-5.

In the final, the Austrian will face the Spanish Rafael Nadal, second in the hierarchy, who knocked out the Swiss Roger Federer third place, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-2 in the reprint of the final last year, which was favorable to Nadal, the 'king' in Paris, with 11 wins.
