Portugal defeated Argentina on the penalties this Sunday and won the 16th world title.
This Sunday, Portugal was crowned world champion in roller hockey, 16 years after winning the last world title. Portugal defeated Argentina by 2-1 in the penalty shoot-out, after a 0-0 draw at the end of the match. In the penalty shoot-out, Gonçalo Alves and Hélder Nunes scored for Portugal, while for Argentina, only Nicolia managed to score.
