Former 400 meters hurdles' world champion dies at age 28

Nicholas Bett did not survive a car accident.

Kenyan Nicholas Bett, 2015 world champion of the 400 meters hurdles, in Beijing, died on Wednesday after a car accident in the Nandi region of Kenya.

The information was released by local police and by the family of the 28-years-old athlete, explaining that Bett's car had slipped and eventually rolled over.
