Hamilton wins Bahrain Grand Prix in Formula 1

Valtteri Bottas, also from Mercedes, got the second place on the podium.

British Lewis Hamilton won the Bahrain Grand Prix this Sunday in a Mercedes' "double", being followed by his Finnish team-mate Valtteri Bottas in the second round of the Formula One World Championship.

Hamilton jumped to the lead nine laps before the end, due to mechanical problems felt by the Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), who was leading comfortably before being passed by the two Mercedes, clinching his 74th career victory in a race that ended with the safety car on the track in the last two laps, due to the failure of the two Renaults.
