Suspended from professional tennis since December, Brazilian player Diego Matos was banned today by the Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU). The doubles expert was found guilty of manipulating results and not collaborating with the investigation.

He was also fined $125,000 and will have to return $12,000 related to illicit earnings in tournaments held in Ecuador. 31-year-old Matos was also found guilty of manipulating results in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Portugal, and Spain.
