The former Brazilian player Ronaldo, also known as the Phenomenon, is the new owner of Valladolid, a club that this year returned to the Spanish Premier League. The business, in the amount of approximately 30 million euros, was formalized this Monday, revealed on Saturday the Spanish newspaper Marca.
The former owner of the Spanish club, Carlos Suárez, becomes a strategic adviser for the club. Ronaldo Nazário, ambassador of Real Madrid, was not the only one interested in buying Valladolid, but ended up taking the advantage, having now the mission to face a debt of 25 million euros, in addition to building a competitive team able to reaffirm its strength in the main Spanish soccer league.
