The "disappearance" of a Cristiano Ronaldo jersey that was offered to a Madeiran association of Toronto is at the center of a controversy that divides current and former leaders.
The jersey that supposedly has been used by Cristiano Ronaldo in an official game of the Portuguese National Team was donated by the CR7 Museum. The current leaders of the association do not know where it is and accuse the previous leaders of having hidden it.
"Up to December of 2017 no member of "Casa da Madeira" ("House of Madeira" in English) was aware of any item sent by the CR7 Museum or if it was on display in the institution," said José Rodrigues, councilor of the Madeiran Communities.
