Portuguese will coordinate the World Cup security project

Chief Superintendent Jorge Maurício is the current Lisbon Metropolitan Commander of the Public Security Police.

The Chief Superintendent Jorge Maurício, the current Lisbon Metropolitan Commander of the Public Security Police (PSP), will coordinate the Stadia project for security at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The information was given this Monday by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI), which authorized the dismissal of service requested by the Chief Superintendent "to perform duties at Interpol between January of 2020 and October of 2022."
