In 2018, Portuguese clubs spent the equivalent of 38 million euros with intermediaries, in a list led by England.

In 2018, Portugal was the fourth country in the world that spent more money with intermediaries during the transfer of football players, FIFA revelead, in a study published on its official website.

According to FIFA'S annual publication, the Portuguese clubs spent the equivalent of 38 million euros with intermediaries this year, 24.7 hiring new players and 13,5 in sales to other clubs.
