Juventus' signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, for more than €100 million, has had an excellent on investment. According to a Nielsen Sports study published by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has sold 1.31 million jerseys since the arrival of CR7 in Turin, earning about €170 million.
The impact of signing the Portuguese international can also be seen in ticket sales, advertising and sponsorships, which skyrocketed from €86.8 million to €108,8 million, a hike of €21.9 million.
