Madagascar is causing a sensation in the African Cuf of Nations (CAN). The team coached by Frenchman Nicolas Dupuis has already made history by qualifying for the first time for the competition and is living an authentic fairytale. It has already assured its presence in the quarter-finals of the competition (against Tunisia on Thursday), after eliminating Congo in the shoot-out on penalties during the weekend. This after winning (2-0) against Nigeria, one of the favorites, in the group stage.

One of the greatest reasons for the success of the largest island in the African continent, which before the start of the CAN only won 12 World Cup qualifying matches, is coach Nicolas Dupuis, 51, who stated working with the national team of Madagascar in 2017, reconciling this work with the one of coach of FC Fleury 91, club of the French IV division.
