The difficult story of 'Puma' which became a UEFA movie

The movie was shot in the so-called Jamaica neighborhood (Seixal, Setúbal) and focuses on the role that football has played in the life of 'Puma'.

UEFA has made a documentary in Portugal, premiered yesterday, as part of the #EqualGame campaign.

The movie tells the story of a young Angolan immigrant who managed to escape a life of drugs and crime thanks to football, unlike his seven childhood friends, who are currently in jail. Aurio Emerson, better known as 'Puma', arrived in Portugal at the age of three and grew up in the so-called Jamaica neighborhood (Seixal), a place plagued by violence, delinquency, drug trafficking, and poverty.
