Leonardo Jardim is leaving Monaco, the daily Nice Matin and L'Équipe reported this Tuesday, France Presse agency (AFP) confirms the information of his imminent exit.
According to AFP, Jardim will leave Monaco, which he represents since 2014, in the upcoming days, with Frenchman Thierry Henry as the most spoken name for his replacement. Thierry Henry is a former player of the club and currently assistant coach of the Belgian national team.
According to sources close to the case, the vice-president of Monaco, Vadim Vasyliev, met with Jardim this afternoon, at a meeting in which the details of the separation were formalized, with compensation figures around 10 million euros, relating to the rest of the wages in the contract until 2020.
