Sunday will be Croatia's debut in the final of the football world cup and there is a missing player who will watch the match from home: Nikola Kalinic was called but sent home after the first match in Russia since he refused to warm up to enter at the last minutes of the match between Croatia and Nigeria.
The 30-year-old football player would have allegedly suffered from back pain, but his explanation did not convince coach Zlatko Dalic, who sent him home earlier. "I asked him to enter against Nigeria. He told me he had back pain (...). I need healthy players," the coach later said.
