Beckham was pranked with a statue and thanked when it was crushed

David Beckham was honored by his former club LA Galaxy with a statue outside their stadium in Los Angeles. Before its inauguration, however, American comedian James Corden played a joke on the former English star. A fake, unflattering statue was unveiled, but Beckam tried to remain calm throughout the prank. However, he only sighed with relief when he saw a bulldozer crash the sculpture.

Till then, however, he was pranked by several actors who pretended to be members of the club and organization. An actor was hired to play the sculptor, and when David Beckham saw the statue, he said, "We're lucky my kids aren't coming to the ceremony."
