Barcelona spends 30.3 million euros more than Real Madrid on salaries

Catalans have annual financial costs of 671,429 million euros. Only Villarreal and Leganés did not increase payroll expenses compared to last season.

Barcelona is the Spanish League team that spends the most each year on salaries, totaling 671,429 million euros annually, an increase of 38.529 million euros over the previous season.

The Catalans top the table, according to sports newspaper AS, spending € 30.3 million euros more than Real Madrid, which this year plans to spend something in the vicinity of 641,049 million euros, a of 74.55 million increase compared to the 2018/ 19 season.
