Angola beats Burkina Faso and rejoins the race for the Cup

Angola received and beat Burkina Faso 2-1 in Luanda, with an 'encore' by Mateus Galiano.

The Angolan national team has thus relaunched hope for the qualification for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

In a game of the fifth and penultimate round of Group I for the qualification for CAN19, Mateus Galiano, with the help of Gelson Dala, from Rio Ave, scored, at 45' and 57'. The team trained by Portuguese Paulo Duarte scored at 69, by Youssouf Dayu.

After the penultimate round of group I, Angola surpassed their opponents this Sunday, now having nine points against Burkina Faso's seven. It now has the same number of points as Mauritania, which will still play today, in Nouackchott, against Botsuana, the team in last-place, with only one point.
