In 2016, Cristiano Ronaldo signed a € 162 million contract with Nike, valid for ten years (that is, € 16.2 million per year). The German magazine Der Spiegel revealed these figures, and this weekend it made the prepublication of the book Football Leaks 2 - New Revelations From the World of Professional Football.
Ronaldo was disputed by Nike and Adidas. Nike eventually won the battle, and the Portuguese is the athlete who receives the most from the sports brand, ahead of the American NBA star, LeBron James.
