Gordon Banks one of the best goalkeepers ever, has died

Former English international died at age 81.

Gordon Banks, former English goalkeeper, was unanimously considered one of the best ever.

Banks died on Tuesday, at the age 81, after several years fighting cancer. He was part of the English national team that was crowned World Champion in 1966 and, among others, played for Leicester and Stoke City.
