The creation of a Women's World League for national teams is being discussed.

FIFA will invest $500 million (€449 million) in women's football over the next four years. The decision has yet to be approved on October 24 in Shangai.

FIFA will invest $500 million from its $2.7 billion reserves in women's football over the next four years, in addition to the $500 million already included in the current budget.
