Flamengo's matches have been broadcast in Portugal since the game with São Paulo in late September
Botafogo and Flamengo have finally reached a deal: the Rio derby will be broadcast live in Portugal. Initially, the home club refused to reach an agreement with Flamengo, making it impossible to watch the Rio derby in Portugal. But Globoesporte, which had reported the initial disagreement, now says a deal has been reached.
Flamengo's matches have been broadcast by the FPF channel since the game with São Paulo in late September. But negotiations are held on an almost game-by-game basis, with Flamengo sharing the revenue with its opponents. Botafogo was the first to reject this possibility, but has gone back on the decision and will allow the match to be broadcast on Flamengo's Youtube and Facebook channels.
