Two missiles were fired against the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737, which was shot down on January 8 by Iranian armed forces.

"Investigators... had access to the information and discovered that two M1-TOR missiles [...] were fired at the aircraft," Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation said in a preliminary report.

"The impact [of the missiles] on the accident and the analysis of that action are under investigation," the document reads.
