The Minas Gerais Fire Department reported that seven people were found dead after the rupture of Vale Dam in Brumadinho (Minas Gerais) on Friday, January 25. The victims have not yet been identified.

The Governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, is visiting the site accompanied by the Minister of the Environment, Ricardo Salles.

According to the company, 279 of the 427 people who were working in the dam were rescued alive.
