General Richard Nunes confirms suspicion of militia involvement.
Rio's Public Security Secretary, General Richard Nunes, said that the Civil Police have identified some of the criminals involved in the murder of Councilwoman Marielle Franco (PSOL), who was shot dead in central Rio on March 14.
Eight months after the incident, the crime has not yet been solved. According to Nunes, no arrests have been made yet because police authorities believe that if one of the suspects is arrested, the others may flee. Police have not yet arrested any suspects because they want to capture all at once.
