Suspect remains at large; police opened an inquiry to investigate the case.
An unidentified man assaulted the Parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Mooca (east side), at around 11 am this Friday (25).
According to a statement from the church to their collaborators, the man, armed with a revolver, broke into the office and subdued the priest, the secretary and a woman who went to the scene to deliver donations.
All were taken to a room and had their belongings taken - in total, two cell phones, a wedding ring, R$ 100 and the priest's wallet with his documents. The reporter was unable to contact the church.
