Pope visits Hiroshima and Nagasaki to warn against nuclear weapons

Pope Francis will visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki to send a message against the proliferation of nuclear weapons during his trip to Thailand and Japan from 19 to November 19 to 26.

According to the Vatican's travel program presented today, Francisco's message against nuclear weapons will be delivered at the Nagasaki Peace Park, set up to mark the city's nuclear bombing on August 9, 1945, during the World War II.

The pontiff's journey begins in Thailand, where, in addition to meeting with the authorities, he will visit the Supreme Patriarch of Buddhists at Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram temple.
