Opposition demands for Portugal's explanations to "barbarian" death of Cape Verdean student

Janira Hoppfer Almada said it is "time for" Cape Verde to stop and analyze "the real status of students" and their community in Portugal.

The leader of PAICV, the largest opposition party in Cape Verde, defended this Sunday that explanations should be demanded from the Portuguese Government on the "barbaric" death of a Cape Verdean student after being attacked in Bragança.

In a message posted on her official Facebook account, the president of the African Independence Party of Cape Verde (PAICV), Janira Hopffer Almada, states that at these times it is necessary to show that "human life is priceless".
