More than 60 dead were Canadians; tragedy generated commotion in the country

There was the family of an important Iranian writer who emigrated to Canada a few years ago. There was a newly married couple. And there were international students and children traveling with their families.

The victims of a Boeing 737-800 crash on Wednesday (8) morning in Iran included passengers and crew from at least seven countries, including 63 Canadians. It is unclear what caused the aircraft to crash.
