Moro says that men are violent when women intimidate them and is criticized

Minister published a speech during the signing of the pact to mark the 13 years of the Maria da Penha Law on social media.

The Minister of Justice, Sergio Moro, has become a target of criticism on Twitter after saying this Wednesday (7) that men resort to violence because they feel intimidated by women.

"Maybe we, men, feel intimidated. Maybe we, men, realize that the world is changing and, because of that intimidation, unfortunately, sometimes we resort to violence to assert an alleged superiority that no longer exists", he said.
