Like many people across East Asia, North Koreans are exchanging gifts this month to celebrate the Lunar New Year. But instead of tea, sweets or clothes, some people in this poor, isolated country give their friends methamphetamines.

The drug use - the cause of health and dependency crises around the world - is rep be a common habit in North Korea, as well as giving it away as a present.
